NLP - My understanding ........................

Fundamentals of NLP ( Neuro Linguistic Programming ) – My personal understanding :

Neuro – Related to your brain ( Mind )
Linguistic – Language – verbal and non-verbal and internal self talk
Programming – Action steps to achieve outcome or result

In  hindi/Sanskrit there is a saying
Man                 –         Vachan           –         Karm
Or
Mansa             -           Vacha          -            Karmana
Or
Mind                -           Talk             -           Action

Neuro             -           Linguistic        -       Programming

NLP is how to align these three as per situation to get desired outcome/results

How Neuro works within us ?
Every human being have 5 sense organ ( eyes/ear/nose/skin/tongue) to perceive the outside world.
Each one has their own perception and  that is unique to individual.
Perception is stored in the human brain in the form of images , words and feelings ( smell/touch/taste) i.e. his Internal Representation.

These internal representation are created after filtering the perceptions through his value, belief, language, memory, & decisions already gained or developed in a course of time.

How Linguistic impact the thoughts and emotions ?

These internal representations create thoughts & emotions within the human brain and impact on his physiology or vice – varsa

How programming effects the behaviour ?

Then human being react and behave as per his internal state to outside world i.e. his action step  to wards the outcome or result
As per the researcher of NLP these behaviours can be modified with NLP techniques in the following ways and result or outcome may be achieved as desired :

By   changing/modifying or knowing well the filtering systems i.e.

            Value/Belief/Memory/Language/Decisions
By changing the Internal Representation – images/sounds/feelings
.   By changing thoughts and emotions
          By changing physiology

One need to learn these techniques with any NLP expert or coach. It requires certain human skills which need to be practiced during the training sessions step by step. Anybody can learn and take advantages of these techniques in his day to day life. Its a very powerful tools in today’s world of competition and fast change of technology to overcome the challenges and achieve the desired results.

Building Blocks of Organisation.......................

Importance of Vision, Mission & Values ...................

Based on need , Organisation engaged people and expect them to fulfil those needs and deliver the results as per expectation. Apart from economic benefits, every organisation have some purpose and responsibility towards society. Success depends upon the organisation motive and purpose.

For every success there are people who runs the organisation irrespective of power and positions. Each positions are defined and responsibilities are fixed depending upon the competence.

To integrate the efforts organisation set vision , mission and values which drives the organisation. It is responsibility of employees to understand them and integrate  them to his personal vision, mission and values.

Most of the people confined themselves to job description , duty hours and expectations only and not aware of Organisation purpose, vision, mission and values. This creates an unseen gap in the organisation and affects the progress and image of the organisation. Success of organisation is success of those who are associated with the organisation.

      1.      Employees
      2.      Contractors/Suppliers/Consultants
      3.      Society
      4.      Investors

Vision – is the mind of the organisation which gives objectives and purpose and direction

Mission – is the heart of the organisation which drives it to achieves those objectives and purposes

Values – are the soul of the organisation which keep alive the vision/mission and create confidence among above stake holders.

Organisation success depends how strongly values are demonstrated in their operation in reality by people associated.

Stronger is the integration stronger is the organisation image

Sustainability...............need of hours..........

System Sustainability ............. need of hours ..........
Some time we think on our success ,  achievements and compare with others. Afterward our mind start blaming either management , situations or others for non performance or deficiencies. This is a normal tendency of modern world of physical progress and prosperity.
This causes or give birth to dissatisfaction and resulting adverse effect on personal life and at large in society. Corruption , violence  & imbalances in society are some of the undesired effects.
Who is responsible ?
Whether our education system , society at large or adoption of modern developments ? because we heard normally people talk or blame either of one and made responsible it.
Challenge with us is “ how to overcome ? ”  . A simple way is to examine your self or in other ward introspection where the role of spirituality comes in to picture.
No one is against the development either physical or mental and  these are necessary for sustainability  of any Society, Nation or world community at large . Now a days we talk about sustainability reports in organisation and wants the confirmation, commitment. We need to decide sustainability parameters for
Individual
Family
Society
Organisation
Country
World
More are less parameters are set and time to time authorities review and modify them . The question is how judicially or sincerely parameters are implemented or followed by us. Ultimate responsibility lies on each individual. Moral values plays important roles and helps individuals stick to sustainability parameters. Spirituality provide morality and balances the physical and mental progress. There is a great need and concern of all to work together and take responsibility and start  journey. All required resources and support systems are available around us. Identify them as per  choice and convenience and go forward to reform this world a peaceful place for all creature !!!!!

My Personal experience - Spirituality ............

My personal experience in spiritual path.
Word spiritual was not known to me in my early ages, when i was in school and colleges, even on service period. I was blessed with Guruji Acharya Shriram Sharmaji, founder of Gyatri Pariwar in childhood as my father was his follower. I saw my father doing mala - japa  regularly, but i never asked him about all these activities, simply followed without any knowledge of spirituality/religion or meaning of Guru ??? etc. During my service tenure somewhere in the year 1990 when i attended a short term professional course at NITIE ( National Institute of Training in Industrial Engineering) , Vihar lake, Mumbai as a part of training(Optional) they offered morning Yoga session for 1 hours. I was very keen and attended that session for 5 days religiously. During a theoretical session one of the Professor explained the “ Astang Yoga” and its significance and subsequently practice of simple yogic postures necessary for working executives brought an awareness on me about Body, Mind and Spirit concept. From that day onwards my spiritual journey started. I started regular practice of Yoga and also shared my experience with my colleagues/friends. There after i come across various spiritual organisation and Gurus:
1 . Sidha Yoga Dham, Ganeshpuri, Thane (M.S.)
2. Anand Marg
3. Yoga Institute, Shantacruz, Mumbai
4. Sri Arvind Ashram
5. Bihar school of yoga
6. Sri Rajneesh
7. Satya Saibaba
8. Swami Shivkripanand of Navasari, Gujarat,
9. Art of living, Bangalore
10. Brahma Kumari’s etc.....
I Read their literature, listen to their discourses live as well on TV now of course  on computer.
When i analysed my life journey , i realised the importance of spirituality how it has helped me and my family. Today even after retirement i am not feeling any loneliness or feeling of emptiness. Some power is always with me inspiring and guiding  and providing strength. I inspired and now started blog with a name “ Spirituality at Work ”
This initiative may be useful to my friends and society to adopt spirituality in their own way and convenience. Spirituality is a third dimension of personality which balances physical and mental growth in right direction. I am blessed by Guruji Sri Sri Ravishankarji as Art of living teacher .  I do regular sadhana to keep myself in order. Guruji’s simple principle of life is
1.      Seva
2.      Sadhana
3.      Satsang
4.      Silence
5.      Smile
6.      Samarpan
All path leads you to same destination. People follow as per their convenience and choice.

NLP - helps Work - Life balance.......

NLP a wonderful tool to maintain -  Work - Life   balance
Corporate world works on the principle of Work is Worship . It is necessary to sustain the business in   competitive environment , challenges of  liberalisation / globalisation need  to be taken care. Following considerations are necessary for any business design :
1.      Economic
2.      Environment
3.      Safety
4.      Social
Common resource required to run any business / Institution / Organisation/ Society /family / Country at large are :
1.      Men
2.      Machines
3.      Materials
4.      Money
5.      Methods
Manpower (male or female) are common  for all the systems. Leaders and followers are the two identities of these systems in different names and forms. One becomes rulers  and other becomes followers.
Another common element is Money rest of all others  depend on the types of businesses /Organisation/Institutions/Society/Country  etc.
Individual  depending upon his level of competence – Qualifications/Experience ( i.e. his knowledge/skill/attitude ) or in other words  his physical/mental capabilities obtained the suitable position to work in these systems. He/she is also part of family/society having personal responsibilities in addition to maintain his/her own physical and mental health to perform at optimum level at works as well at home.
Desired outcome in both front need to  be clearly defined and understood. Once the outcome is defined one need to take into consideration following aspects to move or to act him/herself towards the result or outcome:
a.      Need to maintain  behaviour flexibility depending upon the situation
b.      Need to develop effective sensory awareness i.e. to be focussed.
Robert Dilts develop a logical level organisation model , which helps individuals in specific and organisation in general  to follow and take action appropriate to situation moving towards result
N L P helps Individual and  organisation to understand  the events , process it and develop the required  synergy, commitment and excellence state  to move the resources towards desired outcome. Organisation may seek advises from any experienced NLP coach or expert , who can appropriately coach and guide the Individual/Organisation on application of NLP tools for success of Organisation and maintain a well defined Work – Life balance

A Simple way of Maintenance.........

Preventive Maintenance

Preventive maintenance is a planned maintenance carried out in any plant and equipment before it fails. Preventive  maintenance system works on the philosophy of “Prevention is better than cure” . Means we put our effort to maintain the health of the equipment in such a manner so that it never fails while in operation. In the preventive maintenance we know the time of stoppage i.e. when we are going to take up the maintenance and secondly we know the jobs to be done and requirement of the resources. That is why this is also called Periodic Maintenance
Preventive maintenance systems improves the reliability of any plant and equipment in operation and also avoid any major break down thus improve upon the availability of plant and equipment for operation at its full efficiency. Preventive maintenance also helps in better planning of resources and production thus ensure better service level.
Following are the main activities we perform in Preventive Maintenance:
  1. Cleaning
  2. Lubrication
  3. Overhaul
  4. Replacement
  5. Function test
Details of the preventive maintenance activities for a specific piece of equipment are obtained from the supplier’s manual, but these details may change as own experience is gained. The frequency for carrying out the activities can be based on statistical knowledge of the failure rate, of the specific plant or equipment.
This can be the experience of the supplier and, of course the experience gained at the plant over the years.
The periodic maintenance frequency can either be time based or production based.
The time based periodic maintenance is carried out in accordance with the planning calendar where the activities are listed with a fixed span of  time in between, whereas
The production based periodic maintenance is carried out when a specific amount of material has been produced or, as for rolling stock, when a specific number of kilometres of hours have been reached..
Now the latest trained in maintenance are on the philosophy “Just in time” where the machine conditions are monitored by special condition monitoring equipments and maintenance are carried out when it is essential in a planned manner. Now a day most of the plants are following this technique for better up keep of the equipment for production. This avoid unnecessary stoppage and improve the service level of the equipment.
