Consistency – A living experience of success

 



Consistency mean a step towards  success. Success definition varies person to person. People thought, feeling and action decides  -  events  & circumstances thus the success.

Another term sustainability of individual , family, society and nature. It covers entire living system sustainability.

·         People forms families

·         Families forms societies

·         Societies forms establishments, nations

·         And ultimately nature sustainability.

Today’s technology, rate race, unrest in individual, families , society and nature causing disastrous and sustainability has become a big challenge in living life.

Every one is looking for sustainable living. Consistency in positive thoughts, feeling and actions is the solutions. Individual and family is the unit decides:

Ø  Health – sustainability in protection, nurturing and right utilisation of resources

Ø  Happiness – sustainability in maintaining right understanding and feelings

Ø  Relationships in larger perspective decides the sustainability of families, society, nation & nature.

A consistent person may create a difference. Its very simple. A small change in right direction brings transformation.

Wellness Coach – A “GPS ” for fitness consciousness

 



During my journey to make myself “ Healthy and Happy ” I have come across few articles, seminar 

and people having various aspects of fitness. Mainly

A fitness consciousness can be experienced in three existence of living

1.       Physical fitness

2.       Mental fitness

3.       Emotional fitness

GPS  this concept I took from our driving mechanism , which shows the way to the destination. Its Global Positioning System.

Similarly,  a Wellness coach is one who acts like a GPS to seeker of health and happiness journey.

“A person who is experienced and competent to provide direction for wellbeing of people”

Ø  G – Gyan in hindi (Knowledge)

Ø  P – Prem in hindi (Love)

Ø  S – Shakti in hindi ( Strength, power or confidence)

In a typical wellness centre ( physical or virtual ), three services are provided to the seeker of wellness journey

A.      Right Nutrients  and physical exercises, yoga, workout

B.      An experienced coach, who already experiencing the benefits and achieved significant health benefits – Provides right guidance and education on nutrients and lifestyle

C.      A community – group of people on call for one hours sharing their journey

This can be put in a fitness consciousness triangle as discussed in my previous blog

·          C – Take care of emotional strengthening - Emotional fitness

Simplifying fitness – A fitness triangle concept

 







I uploaded couple of videos on youtube about fitness triangle concept – under the heading – Simple Practice for fitness – personal experience series.

Human fitness as per my personal understanding is having three important aspects of fitness as

1.       Physical  - Need of body – that is protection, nurturing and right utilisation

2.       Mental  - Righ understanding of the self

3.       Emotional – Right feelings in both body and self ( Its physical expressions as well internal talk)

All combined is Fitness Consciousness – Resourceful, happy and prosperous

Few examples:

A.      In learning, education and training : We use term Knowledge, Skills and Attitude in competence building.

Physical – Skill one can learn to perform , where physical fitness is important

Mental – Knowledge enhancement i.e. Right understanding  and enabling to perform rightly i.e. mental fitness.

Emotional – Attitude – Its is internal conditions , feeling which reflect on human behaviour outside i.e. emotional fitness – right feelings gives right behaviour

B.      Alignment of Thoughts, words and Action

Thoughts relates to  mental fitness

Words relates to emotional fitness

Action relates to physical fitness

Like this our fitness is considered as three dimension personality trait. One need to pay attention to all the three aspects.

Personal experience – A common planning concept –  5W1H 







I have come across this concept during my service tenure in one of the  Training Session. This is used while  planning the activities in a work place for effective execution of any task.

W and H letters used here to raise questions

Ø  W – Why – Its very important questions for individuals as well collective in any  management system. Its describe the reasons for doing/performing any task or in other words  objectives / goals....

Ø  W – Whom – Identifying resources

Ø  W – What  – Planning, strategy

Ø  W = When – Time

Ø  W – Where – Place

Ø  H – How = Systems, procedure, support, guidance ....

I applied this concept in a  “ Wellness Community  System ” providing guidance and support to individuals for keeping themselves “ happy and healthy ”  step by step

One need to find the reasons or clarity to visit the community sessions  - Why ?

Whom to approach – Most of the time friends, relatives, social media or some time strangers too

   What is to be discussed, talk  

Where to contact or attend     

When to attend                       

How to process and take benefits – Community facilitate to understand the concept

One  is more interested on result – Individual commitment to follow the system guidelines , believe in community support and coach  are the drivers of success or result .

Every event pass through  5W1H “

(Why, What, When, Where, Who and How)

What is existence ?  human being  is coexistence of human(Body) & Being(Self).

Existence is coexistence  - This is the truth

Resourceful mean – One must have assurance and adequate competence to fulfil basic need of survival – Physical needs of body of self and relatives i.e.

ü  Protection

ü  Nurturing

ü  Right utilisation of resources to enhance the capacity and survival

Happy -  Assurance on its continuity

Right understanding and right feelings is important to assure the happiness of self and relatives .

Expressing  human values like trust, respect, affection, care, guidance, reverence, glory, gratitude &love within gives happiness in self

Expressing to others makes happy others

Prosperous – feeling of having more than required and assurance to produce. Person with feeling of prosperity help the others and lack of feelings deprive the person resulting exploitation in family and nature.

Advantages of continuous learning – “ Self experience ”

 



I heard from elders, teachers some of the quotes on learning:

1.      Learning is a continuous process

2.      There is no age for learning

3.      One can learn from nature, situation or person  

4.      Learning reinforced  concepts etc.......

I experienced the same in my life journey. Learning is my passion and I keep learning, repeating and experiencing the concepts in my own living. Even at the age 67+ i keep attending programmes and seminars to enhance my understanding and experience on living the new concepts. Some of the basic understanding enhanced in my life style

a.      How much water one need to drink ?

b.      Importance of nutrients in food

c.       How to be happy and prosperous ?

d.      Gratitude enhances happiness

e.      How to take bath ? with cold water benefits

f.        Energy balance in body

g.      Self and body coexist

h.      How to live in harmony with self, family, society and nature ?

i.        Response and Reaction

j.        Power of subconscious mind – Affirmation

k.       Raj yog and its benefits etc............

I would like to illustrate one of the experience of leaning continuity ............

Some 20yrs back I attended Basic programme of Art of Living ( Now named as Happiness Programme ) by Sri Sri Ravishankar Guruji. There I learned 5keys of happy living

1.      Accept the people and situation as they are

2.      Opposite values are complimentary

3.      Don’t become the football of others opinion

4.      Never doubt the intension of the people

5.      Be in present moment – Present moment is inevitable

It was a knowledge and occasionally it reminds me but it was not that much understood in living. Now after a span of 20+ years I got another opportunity to attend a programme on “ Transforming Self and Transforming Relationship by an Social Organisation referred by a friend of mine in Bangalore “ the link is available – tstr.in

When I come across a content on Universal Values responsible for Happiness in living self and others following 9 values were taught and explained :

Some of the concept I learnt :

Ø  Self and body Co-exist and requirement of Self and body are different

Ø  Body needs – Protection, Nurturing and Right Utilisation

Ø  Self needs – Happiness and its continuity in living – Right understanding and feelings

Ø  Prosperity is a feelings of having more than required and capacity to produce

Ø  Self needs can not be fulfilled by any physical objects or things whatsoever

Ø  Every human being wants to happy always

Ø  Difference between Intensions and Competence

Ø  Over evaluation, Under evaluation and otherwise evaluation

Ø  Living in harmony with self, family, society and nature

Ø  To become, To get and To be ( Right understanding of these three words – First two are journey towards goal and last one is the goal)

Ø  This sentence will clarify the concept – ( I want to become an Engineer to get good job and salary to be happy and prosperous in life )

Nine Universal Values – feeling in self gives happiness to self , expressing with others enhances the happiness of others

When I get right understanding and feeling within me my transformation started. I could able to understand the meaning of 5 keys learnt during AOL course  more deeply and enjoy the benefits in my living. This is how learning helped me in my life. Its a brief.
