Today’s challenges – Parenting

In today’s world of fast change Technology and Progress  - Parenting has become a challenge for new generation , where both husband and wife are working. Work life balance concept facilitate the necessities up to some extent. Parents needs to priorities and spare time to learn child nature and skills for nurturing. In early days Grand Parents and elders at home used to take care child needs and nurturing. A natural learning nurture the child at home and develops:

Ø  Discipline
Ø  Friendliness
Ø  Respect & obedience
Ø  Care & concern
Ø  Love and affection
Ø  Cleanliness and hygiene
Ø  Timeliness
Ø  Manners and etiquettes
Ø  Health and wellness
Ø  Food discipline etc....
Ø  Education and skills training
Ø  Awareness and encouragement for games and sports etc.........

Due to business globalisation and liberalisation education and job opportunities spread across the countries and worldwide. As such Adult populations moving towards metros and other countries for education and employments resulting Family disintegrations.

Old parents either not ready to move or there is no feasibility of shifting due to cost of living & Other cultural differences etc. Marriages have also become social challenge due to change of mind set of new generation.

Youths are moving more towards their own choices of working Life partners. Some times it becomes a serious social issue and strong resistance from family and society. Such issues are creating more challenges for new generation.

All these reasons are causing less awareness of child nurturing among new generation.
Lots of NGOs and other commercial Institutes are coming forward to support the new generation parents for nurturing and taking care of their kids at early ages. Parents needs to keep balances of parenting support at Institute as well at home. Web search may provide enough information as per convenience of locality and budget.

World largest Volunteer based NGO Art of Living foundation conduct sessions & providing  guidelines on parenting skills.  One may approach to any of their nearest centres for programme information and support.
