Self empowering - Be an Idealistic

Idealistic word itself “ Empowered ”  one’s to be an optimist, reformer or a visionary .

Dictionary defines : Idealistic is  “ A person who cherishes or pursues high or noble principles, purpose, goal etc.............”

Walt Disney’s strategy defines : Three state of human mind

Ø  The Dreamer     - What do one  wants to achieve ?

Ø  The Critic             - What can stop one’s to get desired outcome?

Self sustainability - A key to be a “ Responsible Citizen ”

I come across a term “ Responsible Citizen” during one of the event organised by – “ Bengaluru Green Roadies ” A group of committed Individuals enthusiastic to protect the natural resources for future generation and save the planet . Inspired with five P’s of sustainability , namely,

Ø  Planet – Environment sustainability

Ø  People – Social sustainability

Ø  Prosperity – Economic sustainability

Ø  Partnership – Reliability or system sustainability

Ø  Peace – Overall success sustainability – happiness  

With firm mindset : We dare while we care and share

Some of the thought provoking  questions started coming to my mind:

ü  Am I a responsible citizen ?

ü  Do I really care for natural resources necessary for survival  ?

ü  Do I ever thought of my future generation survival needs ?

Today , Corporate are talking about Sustainability , it has become a mandatory requirement as per company law. Economic, social, safety and environment are the key factors for business sustainability.

As a responsible citizen one must be aware of 5 P’s of sustainability fully. Now its time to act and run for own survival and creating a sustainable world for future generation. Create Green Roadies in every town, city and country at large.

A strategy of survival – Conservation of resources

Human existence  and survival on planet earth depends upon availability of natural resources.  Judicial uses and conservation is need of hours. Increasing population and depletion of natural resources creates  eco – imbalance , which causes natural calamities and destruction.

Environment consist of :

Ø  Land

Ø  Water

Ø  Air

Ø  flora & fauna .

Respective Governments, Agencies and NGOs are structured to overcome the challenges. A collective common sense approach  for conservation of resources has become need of hours . Some of small conscious initiative may be :

ü  Avoid wastage of Food

ü  Avoid wastage of Water

ü  Avoid wastage of Electricity

ü  Wastage of cooking gas

ü  Say no to plastic bag uses

ü  Wet and dry waste segregation  at source

ü  Plantation

ü  Educate people

ü  Uses of energy efficiency appliances at home (as much as possible)

ü  Support people those  who are working for conservation work . etc....
