Yoga – A simple technique for “ Healthy , Peaceful & blissful life ”

Since last 25 years I am practicing Yogik life style learnt at NITIE ( National Institute for Training in Industrial Engineering, Vihar lake, Mumbai ) . As a optional course NITIE offers to the Participants of Management Course under EDP( Executive Development Programme ) for Corporate Executives. A very simple and useful tips on yoga based on “ Patanjali Astang Yoga ”

This technique is  suitable for human being of any cast , creed, religion, sex , origin .................as these are related to purification process of three component of body system. Our body systems consist of 3 basic components:

·         Body – Nature is to be healthy
·         Mind – Nature is to be peaceful
·         Spirit(Soul) – Nature is to be blissful

During my life journey I have come across , few Yoga Institutes , Spiritual Organisations , but I find all the teaching leads to same thing , there ways and techniques may be in different names and styles but every one works for above three components of human system with same aims and objectives
If one follows eight steps sincerely, may live a healthy, peaceful & blissful life easily. These eight steps are as under:

1.       Practice of the moral virtues – Truth, Non-violence, Non stealing, Respect, Non accumulation
2.       Regular habits of Purity, Contentment, Study, Austerity & Self surrender
Purify mind – One experiences  peace of mind
3.       Posture
4.       Control of vital energy by breathing exercises
Purify body – One experiences a healthy body  
5.       Withdrawal of the mind from sense- objects
 Self control – One experiences easiness in control of senses
6.       Concentration – Focussed
7.       Meditation – brings awareness
8.       Absorption in the consciousness of God –
 One experiences & realises the Supreme consciousness within – a blissful state of soul

Thus , regular practice gives a healthy, peaceful & blissful state which is the most resource full state brings – Knowledge, Power,  happiness, Purity, Peace, Love, blissfulness in life, which is the ultimate aim of human life.
