Association - A Mechanism for action and result

Association - A  common word used by all of us . The dictionary says the meaning association mean – “   A Group organised for a shared purpose; a link, a connection” or Feeling or ideas commonly connected with another idea. One or other way, we are part of an Association . Associations are  named differently according to its purpose and objectives, some of the examples are :
1.       Family
2.       Labour Unions
3.       Societies – In Apartments , Cooperatives , Education etc....
4.       Assemblies
5.       Parliaments
6.       NGOs
7.       Organisation
8.       UNO
9.       UN assembly and so on ....................................
 Every Associations  need to act as per by- laws formed for them to achieve well defined results . The results or outcome of associations depend on following basic parameters
Ø  How well purpose and objectives or results expected are defined
Ø  Action steps taken by the members within framed guidelines
Ø  How much awareness and concerned members have for the purpose and objectives.
Ø  How flexible one in behaviour to achieve the results within framework
Vision, Mission and Values of an Associations must be clearly defined and it is the responsibility of all members to aligned themselves with those values like
·         Integrity
·         Honesty
·         Discipline or by- laws of association
·         Mutual Cooperation etc......
Success of any Association depends on quality of alignment. Self analysis , intro-inspection will help for necessary corrective action and  proper alignment .
