Words become "Business Principles" – Enabling new challenges

Few days back while surfing on internet LinkedIn post ,   I come across an article by our honourable Prime Minister.  Following Five words in the articles attracted my attention .

Ø  Adaptability

Ø  Efficiency

Ø  Inclusivity

Ø  Opportunity

Ø  Universalism

Speciality of these words are all starting from vowel.  In English Alphabet there are 26 letters out of which five letters are vowels they are a, e, i, o and u are the only ones that represent sounds you can make just by using voice and opening mouth, that makes them special.

Honourable PM suggested to become role model post COVID – 19 world. These five special words are five business principles to be applied to meet the new challenges  of post epidemic situation globally. PM stated and I quote here:

 “ I call them vowels of the new normal because like vowels in the English language, these would become essential ingredients of any business model in the post – COVID world ”

Adaptability  - Make simple, easy , flexible  & versatile . Some of the practices we are experiencing  during this crisis like, digital payment, work form home, telemedicine, online training, learning, video conferences which minimises time, cost, effective, more comfort at door step, less infrastructure etc......

Efficiency – Minimising cost, time, and resources .

Inclusivity – Increasing scope ,  environment friendly , more support to society at large

Opportunity – Creating more options , solution approach , easy access

Universalism – improving on relationship, brotherhood , moving ahead of rate race ......

A Challenge of the century – an epidemic

It was never imagined of such an epidemic  in advanced, developed world of science and technology.  Human race missed somewhere this natural phenomenon . An individual  normal expectations  are :

Ø  Health

Ø  Wealth &

Ø  Happiness

 It needs to be examined. Human being an integral system consisting three dimensions of existence :

·         Body

·         Mind &

·         Soul – Energy

A balance needs to be maintain between Individual/family/society/nature – flora & fauna for the sustainability of existence. Like any other incident this needs to be examined.

Cause & Effect

Cause : Existence & spread of virus caused epidemic

Effect: Globally , entire human life struggling for survival of health, wealth and happiness.

Entire world joined hands to overcome the situation.  It is responsibility of one’s  to follow the Experts & respective Governments advisory and save self, family and others.
